Transparent Payment Options for Your Legal Needs

Explore our flexible payment methods to support your startup journey

What payment options do you offer for your legal services?
At Bluegrass Innovation Group, we offer a variety of payment options to cater to the needs of our clients. You can choose to pay through credit or debit cards, bank transfers, PayPal, check, cash, or even Venmo. We know that legal services provide a costly barrier to small businesses, entrepreneurs, and innovators, and we try to remove those barriers by providing affordable services and easy payment options so that you can focus on BIG picture plans.
Do you require a retainer for services?
To keep our costs lower and competitive for clients (e.g. by mitigating risk of non-payment) we require an upfront retainer for all legal matters. The retainer amount depends on the specific services you need and will be discussed during our initial free consultation - after which you should have an accurate accounting of how much a given project will cost. Retainer amounts are what we bill against - for both flat-fee and/or hourly projects - and any retainer amount that is leftover at completion of a project can be returned to you or utilized for another project. This structure ensures that you are only paying for your legal services, and are not making up for non-payment losses of someone else.
What is your billing cycle for services?
Our standard billing cycle is monthly (or upon project stages - depending on the legal matter type and agreement), allowing you to review your expenses regularly. We provide detailed invoices that outline the services rendered and the associated costs, ensuring transparency in your legal expenses.
Are there any additional fees I should be aware of?
While we strive to provide clear pricing, certain services may incur additional fees, such as Government filing fees for patent or trademark applications, or 3rd-Party administrative costs associated with document preparation. These additional fees are typically unavoidable even if a legal matter were attempted DIY, and while we may facilitate payment of them through our organization we do not benefit from them. We will always inform you of any potential extra costs upfront, and will counsel you on how to keep these costs down and tailored to your legal needs.

Payment OptionsTo keep things secure, we keep our Payment Links proprietary.

Once an engagement letter has been signed and an invoice submitted, Bluegrass Innovation Group, PLLC will discuss payment options and provide corresponding payment option details to you directly. We haven't had any security concerns issues yet, and this is just an extra step to ensure that everyone's data stays as secure :)

We take cyber-security and data privacy very seriously and want to mitigate pathways that bad actors have to breach our data.
